Autumnwood is starting a referral program.
If you refer a new student to Autumnwood and they sign up for lessons or summer camp, Autumnwood will give you an Autumnwood gift certificate worth $25.00, to be used on anything except the purchase of clothing.
All referrals will be honored as of April 12th, 2010. If you referred someone to Autumnwood and they signed up for the Spring Semester you will receive a $25.00 gift certificate.
Drop off the kids for a lesson or a special event and head to the golf course. There is a beautiful nine-hole golf course 5 min from the barn. Lockwood Golf Club is a quiet course located at 309 Regional Road 13, Zepher, 905-473-1636.
I spoke with the owners today and they say that the course is not really busy so no tee times are required but there is a dress code to abide by so please wear the appropriate golf attire.
If you are interested I have some score cards and business card at the barn.
Autumnwood Riding Centre is now hosting Brithday Parties. Would you like to celebrate your Birthday with the horses. Autumnwood has a challenge for YOU!!!
I am looking for pictures and poetry to display at our booth in May and around the barn. If you have any work that you would like to display or have caught something great in a photo please submit it to the barn in person or by email by Saturday May 1st. Each category winner will recieve a $25.00 Autumnwood gift certificate.
Here are the categories
On Horse Back – pictures of students riding
Around the barn – pictures of activities or dailychores being preformed around the barn
Our Horses – just the horses no people
Special Events – pictures from the events at the barn, open house, gymkhanas
Camp Days – any pictures from our summer camps or march break camp
Pen to Paper – poetry and stories about Autumnwood and our horses.
I will review all submissions before they are posted. Remeber that we will need permission from people whose faces appear in the pictures before they are displayed.

In preperation for the “Everything Equine” event in Uxbridge on May 15th I was thinking we should have a horse spa day on Saturday May 8th.
Everyone that shows up will help groom the horses for a photo shoot. We will clip wiskers, pull manes, oil feet and make our horses shine then we will take pictures of them to display at our booth. If you are interested in primping up our ponies please let me know arcriding@gmail.com. Susan
Hello Everyone
Thank you to all of the students, family and friends who came out for the Spring Open House. There was lots of excitement as more than 30 kids scrambled around the property looking for eggs.
Spring Registration is well on its way and the first week of lessons start April 12th and run until the end of June. If you have not registered already or you have a friend that would like to join please email or call me. We now have 27 registered students at Autumnwood. My goal is to have 40 students, so invite your friends and family or anyone you know who might be interested.
Also I am looking into doing some western lessons for all who are interested. It will take a bit of time to get the right horses and tack but the wheels are in motion. If you are interested please contact me. The more interest the faster we can get started.
Saturday April 3 was a beautiful day and all of our students had an oppurtuntiy to ride outside as well as go for a ride around the property. Happy Trails everyone.
Events to look forward to
April 30th is our first Drill Team meeting if you are thinking of joining us that night please register soon there is only a limited number of horses to ride.
Sat May 17 is the Uxbridge Horsemen’s Association Everything Equine in Elgin Park, Uxbridge. It looks like Autumnwood will be there to join the activities. To find out more visit www.uxbridgehorsemen.com. More information will follow.
